AllTaxCalc is a free, no-signup calculator that helps Canadians estimate their take-home pay — whether you're an employee on a T4 or self-employed as a freelancer or contractor. Enter your gross income and province, and it factors in federal tax, provincial tax, CPP/QPP contributions, EI premiums, and applicable surtaxes to show what you actually keep.
Understanding your real take-home pay shouldn't require a spreadsheet or an accountant. Job offers, freelance rate negotiations, and budgeting all get easier when you know your after-tax number up front. AllTaxCalc exists to make that estimate quick, free, and available for every province and territory.
AllTaxCalc is an annual estimator, built from published Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Revenu Québec rates for the 2025 and 2026 tax years. It is designed to land within a realistic range of your actual take-home pay.
It is not a certified payroll engine (like CRA's PDOC or the T4127 formulas) and shouldn't be used for exact per-paycheque payroll deductions, tax filing, or as a substitute for professional tax or financial advice. Individual circumstances — deductions, credits, benefits, multiple income sources — can all shift your real result.
Tax brackets, basic personal amounts, CPP/QPP rates and limits, and EI premium rates are sourced from official CRA and Revenu Québec publications and updated as new rates are released each tax year.
